DO YOU LIVE HERE..........

This is the question my sister keeps asking me!!!! as she is a very organised sort of person she has taken us to all sorts of places I didn't know about....... right down to the tumble dryer in the community laverie which we needed because of the 3 loads of washing we couldn't get dry because of the RAIN.

Tuesday.......Perigueux went on the little tourist train, mum loved it followed by the L'Occitaine shop, hot chocolate, on to Trellisac McDonalds more shopping.

Today.......Bijou shop M.P. Samei shop, Shop for fleeces for the SA as no warm clothes (They semed to think they were coming to a warmer country than the UK. HA BLOODY HA.

Went for a nice walk and saw some deer that seemed to have been startled by a very loud grunting noise which we think may have been a wild boar.

Roll on Provence!!!!

ARRIVAL.................

First two days have been sunny....... today the weather changed to rain, we have been to ruffiac and had a lovely walk. Molly is having the time of her life and Scotty wants to be a farmer or a computer boffn in France.

Food and wine has been consumed at a fast rate!!!!

We have had a few jaunts out in the hire car so that Hazel can get some practice with the left hand driving before we go to Provence and today we decided whilst she is driving I will change gear for her........if not the gearbox will be trashed LOL

All done......ready for anything the weather is still rumbling thunder but I really dont care! Will be tracking the flight and hopefully they should be here for about 2ish.

Went to clean pool today and had chocolate marmalade cake and coffee whilst waiting for the hoover to do its thing and very nice it was to.

Not sure if I will get time to blog but I will try because I want to record my time with family.

Spoke to Hazel tonight she is still packing and running around sorting things but she seems in control LOL

Its still raining.......we had a torrential downpour in the night, good for my fields!

Went over to see Di and her dad yesterday I became the meals on wheels lady and took over a pate pomme de tarre avec salade, baguette, vin rose, et haagen-dazs. Jims op on Thursday so hugs for Jim

COUNTDOWN.......4

I have been so busy last week, here there everywhere, Bob managed to call back home for the weekend on his way back down to Madrid, he parked his truck at a les routiers stop near la Coquille so we decided to try it for lunch it was a buffet and really nice.....cheap and cheerful.

Had a nice shopping trip to Perigrueux it was a red hot day and a got a couple of bargins all rubbish of course!!

Not long now this is the countdown, the weather is very hit & miss, today it has rain very heavy and next week looks no better .
